Someplace to Be Flying Hello all,

As promised in the last newsletter, our Triskell Press ebook edition of Someplace to Be Flying is now up and available throughout the world. Unique to this edition is a new afterword in which I share many gratifying events and memories that have come about specifically because of this book, with particular attention to the crow girls.

It's in the Kindle format at Amazon, with every other format available at Smashwords.

MaryAnn put together a great cover featuring two of the many crow girls who've come into our lives since the original publication of this book. In this case, our friends Sophie and Hannah Rose sent us a fun series of pictures from a shoot with photographer Robin Spangler. MaryAnn combined one of those pictures with a photo that I took in New Mexico and I love the result.

I'm going to be in Toronto this week for a quick visit to the International Festival of Authors at the Harbourfront Centre, October 30, 10:30 a.m.

Foreverly And, since it's coming up quickly in a week or so, I'll just repeat from the last newsletter that if you live in the Baltimore area, MaryAnn and I will be at FaerieCon East from November 8-10. Details can be found here:

Charles Vess will be dropping by to spend the Sunday with us. Since it's the only event we're doing together this year, that's the day to come by with your copies of The Cats of Tanglewood Forest or any of our earlier books. We expect to have some on hand at our table in the Marketplace, but there's no need to make a purchase; please feel free to bring your own books from home. MaryAnn and I will be there from Friday to Sunday, so please stop by and say hello if you're around.

This album isn't out yet, but I'm so pumped for its November release: Foreverly by Billie Joe & Norah. It's Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day and Norah Jones doing their cover of the great album Songs Our Daddy Taught Us by the The Everly Brothers. You can listen to a sample here:

Watch out for the haints and ghoulies this week, and remember to take care of each other.

Cheers
Charles
