In 1989, the partners of my local science fiction and fantasy bookstore asked me for a story. They wanted to publish a book to
celebrate the 10th anniversary of House of SF. Berlin was their choice and they set about to do a design and find a printer.
Rodger Turner did the design and used a photo he had done of a building, called locally the Cattle Castle, at our local fairground.
Patricia Caven did the introduction.
Originally conceived as a gift for their customers, they gave away copies to their customers and sold a few to anxious collectors.
It was done in a 350 copy edition including 26 bound in blue cloth with no dust jacket.
